About This Project
Cardinia Shire’s largest residential estate yet.
The Pakenham East development will comprise up to 3,500 lots and is part of the Paken ham East Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) which outlines the vision for a new community that will extend the existing Pakenham township.
Planning for the 15-year project is well underway, with Parklea anticipating to start selling land in 2020. The development will exemplify community living, with a master planned estate including a variety of community facilities planned for residents to enjoy, in a similar style to other quality Parklea estates in Cardinia Shire.
The PSP, prepared by the Cardinia Shire Council and Victorian Planning Authority comprises approximately 630 hectares bounded by Princes Freeway to the south, Mount Ararat Road North and South to the east, and Deep Creek and Ryan Road to the west.
The vision for the Pakenham East area is a selfsustaining community with plenty of local facilities and open space. Pakenham East will include approximately 7,100 dwellings catering for 20,000- 22,000 people. In addition to housing, the area will include a town centre, convenience centre, two sporting reserves, two government primary schools, a non-government primary school, a government secondary school, parks and waterways.
