Parklea Gift Drive
For most children, Christmas is a time of fun and excitement as they enjoy holiday time with family and friends and eagerly await presents from Santa.
Alternatively, for families doing it tough, Christmas can be a difficult reminder of financial and family problems.
Help us bring some Christmas cheer to disadvantaged families this year by placing a gift or a non – perishable food item in the Parklea donation bins, located across the Cardinia Shire.
Possible food donations include:
Fruitcake or plum pudding
Canned soups and stews
Chocolate, nuts, jams and biscuits
Unsure of what to donate?
If you wish to donate a gift or toy, 0 – 14 month and 13 – 16 years are the age groups that require extra donations this Christmas.
Purchase a Gift Card for teens from Westfield or Kmart, Target and/or JB Hi-Fi.
Don’t forget to place a gift tag on your present, mark girl or boy and the appropriate age group.

“For most children, Christmas is a time of excitement as they look forward to holidays, feasts, lights and presents under the tree. However for families struggling to put food on the table, the festive season can be a painful reminder of financial trouble.”
